Intuitive Beam Picker

Ray Console is the first console that lets you control focus, iris, zoom and shutter in one intuitive beam picker. The beam picker helps you easily understand what changing each attribute does. Drag the on screen faders to change each attribute and see the graphic update in real time. Easily adjust the speed of the strobe by dragging the strobe up to speed up and down to slow down.

Recently Selected Beams

Along the bottom of the beam picker are the recently selected beams. Simply tap a recently selected beam to apply it to a device.

Beam Faders

The Beam dialogues are extended with Beam, Iris and Zoom on screen faders. If the selected devices have shutter channels (usually a mixture of different strobes) then they are represented by extra on screen faders listed. Tapping on the Shutter, moves the fader through all the available shutter settings.

Smart Selection Error Management

If you forget to select a device, Ray Console will simply ask you which device you wish to set the beam for. This is just one way that Ray Console helps you out when something does not go according to plan.

What if I Downgrade?

All saved beams in Memories or Steps will remain and they will be loaded when you open a saved shows. However, the Beam dialogue in Light View will not be available so you will not be able to selecte new beams. You will still be able restore your devices to an iris open, shutter open, strobe off and zommed out state by selecting the [Delete] button and then the device.
